For all those keeping up with our trip, today was an amazing day! Some describe it as "the best day of their lives'" or “the coolest experience!"
We started our day with a huge breakfast! At Letterman’s Diner, everyone was extremely full for a couple hours after that. So full that everyone decided on skipping lunch.
Then we went to Kutztown University to look at all the students' talented artwork. At the university we saw a professor who was willing enough to critique Natasha and Sofia's work! At the University we saw pottery making, metal weaving, and many more art galleries. Did you know we could make beautiful jewelry from metal? At Kutztown in the metal weaving class they created beautiful design out of metal, a long process yet wroth it! The University was an amazing experience for us all!
After our tour it was Ice cream time!! Rita's Italian's ice "The best ice cream ever some of us ever tasted. A detour but fun and exciting!
As our amazing day continued we got to the best part of it! The farm. At the farm while some went on buggy rides, others were being very bold and jumping from hay swings. Horses on the farm are way bigger then we expected to see. The buggy rides were so much fun however the hay swigs were much more fun! Saskia for example was fearless! But I had to fall before I master the swigs, and even then I didn't master it.
Then from there Dutch Apple Theatre! Which was the best part for others. We learned a dance from the show we were about to watch "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, and even got A BACKSTAGE TOUR of the set. Finally we ate dinner and watch the most amazing show ever. After we meet the cast; Miss Hannay had to drag out a very disappointed group of girls who didn't want to leave and wanted to take some of the brothers’ home.
That was the end of day 2 of our NYC/Philadelphia trip.
